Dear Friends,

Greetings and I trust that this letter finds you walking in the grace of our Lord!

Over the last several weeks I have been on the road quite a bit and continue to be blessed as Jesus is clearly making Himself known in each of our gatherings. I am still sensing a great burden and hunger among many to see the Lord move in power and touch this generation with His love, mercy and holiness. In light of this, I would encourage each of you to embrace a life of prayer as never before. The older I get and the more I experience in life and ministry, the more I am aware that unless we fasten ourselves to prayer, what we accomplish only comes through human effort and learned behavior. Even though these accomplishments may be noble, they oftentimes lack a sense of eternity and usually end up running their course with little to no lasting results. May we each experience the Lord’s grace in this hour as we learn to go deeper into intimacy with Jesus, which in turn equips us for the work of God’s Kingdom!

As I write this I also know that we have entered a true season of shaking (naturally and spiritually). It seems that over the last several months we have watched with dismay as natural, political and financial disasters have presented themselves on a weekly basis. From global earthquakes, to the Iceland volcano eruption, to the floods in the southeastern part of the United States, to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, to the upheaval in Greece over economic fallout, to the attempted bomb attack on Times Square, etc., we have observed the very foundations of our society being rocked. I know that we have observed problems in the past, but the regularity of catastrophic events taken place needs to be observed with soberness and should lead us all into deeper places of prayer and intercession. I do not write this to bring us into a place of fear, but it should definitely wake us up to the reality of the time in which we live. This is a season for the people of God to stand up and make a difference for the eternal purposes of God.

I want to end this correspondence by announcing some exciting news. When we moved to Charlotte, NC last year we knew that we would be reconnecting with FIRE and that we would be basing our ministry from there. However, over the last several weeks we have been praying about serving a greater role within FIRE School of Ministry. We have recently agreed to begin to assist and teach more at the school and look forward to pouring into the lives of people who are preparing for ministry. Even though I know that my calling clearly includes preaching and teaching, I also know that a primary part of my calling is to equip, mentor and release others into their role in God’s Kingdom. By serving at FIRE, this will become a greater reality. Please pray for us in this endeavor as I will continue to travel and minister several days a month as well.

Lastly, I would like to ask you to please continue to consider a few specific things regarding our ministry. First, we are still in prayer regarding raising funds for CD duplicating and printing equipment in order to be able to send out free CDs each month to those on our mailing list. Second, we continue to pray about another vehicle for our ministry, especially since we are now driving to many of our speaking engagements 2-3 times a month. Third, we are continuing to pray for a group of people that are able to assist us with financial support each month in order to offset some of our multiple ministry expenses. Any amount is a blessing and you can make checks or money orders out to GIM, or go to www.generationimpactministries.com and submit a payment via our PayPal account. Also, all financial assistance is tax deductible since we are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit ministry. Lastly and most importantly, we are still asking God for a group of prayer warriors (intercessors) that can and will regularly lift us up in prayer as we are striving to stay on the front lines of spiritual battle.

God bless all of you and many thanks to those who pray for us and support us. You mean more to us than you can imagine! Also, please check out our website at: www.generationimpactministries.com. Here you can view our ministry itinerary, read our blogs, listen to sermons, inquire about speaking invitations, give online, etc.

All for Jesus,

Keith Collins
