Dear Friends,
Blessings and peace to you in the ultimate name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!
As I write this to you it is the evening before Easter and I must say that as I have meditated and prayed over the scriptures in the Bible once again that describe the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord (Matthew 27, 28, Mark 15, 16 Luke 23, 24 & John 19, 20), my spirit is alive with the reality of our inheritance, as well as our positioning in God’s eternal purposes! It is beyond description that our precious Lord was willing to lay His life down in order to purchase us for Himself. Beyond that, He descended into Hell (Ephesians 4) and conquered death, Hell and the grave! Therefore, we as the church are His expression of love, mercy, hope, forgiveness, power, authority, holiness, etc. Our purpose on this earth is not just to bask in His blessings. Even though that might be a part of our existence, in essence we are called to exercise God’s Kingdom into every sphere of our existence while living out our years in this temporal world. During this season as we reflect upon the completed work of the Cross, as well as the power of the resurrection, may our hearts be stirred to respond in such a way that we live our lives with a sense of humility coupled with responsibility. It is only out of a true apprehension of the price paid for our sins that we fully grasp the burden and mandate to reach a generation for Jesus Christ!
In recent weeks I have traveled and ministered in Maryland, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. I have to say as I have said in recent months; there is a clear, divine stirring among the people in each place that I go into. By this I don’t mean that people are excited about good services and church related activities. What I have witnessed is a deep cry for the Lord to come and show His power into the midst of the culture in which we live. This my friend is not a time to draw back in complacency and apathy, but it is an hour when the need of this age is for the Lord to awaken His church and through that act of grace, touch a world that continues to flounder and degenerate. I encourage us all to give ourselves to prayer, worship and the Word of God as never before. The truth is that it is only from a platform of intimacy with the Lord that things properly transpire on and individual or corporate level.
I will finish this today by saying that we are blessed that the Lord continues to open new doors for us, as well as bring us in contact with individuals of like, precious faith. We will be announcing some new things next month and are excited to share about how God is supernaturally positioning our lives for His glory in this season. We continue to ask you to please keep us in prayer as we endeavor to stay on the front lines in many ways. Also, we continue to believe the Lord to send partners to us that are able to help us with monthly support or one time gifts, so that we can continue to do what we are called to do. Some of our specific prayer needs are: new transportation, CD/DVD duplicating equipment, finances to cover expenses related to overseas ministry this summer, and an army of prayer warriors to cover us daily as we fulfill various ministry responsibilities.
Thanks to all of you and may the Lord’s grace rest upon you as never before! We would love to hear from you via mail, email at generationimpactministries@hotmail.com, or through our website at www.generationimpactministries.com.
All for Jesus,
Keith Collins
