Dear Friends,

Greetings and I trust that your summer is going well!

At GIM we have been very busy with various ministry obligations lately. Our travel schedule has been somewhat intense in recent weeks, but we are blessed to report that the Lord continues to move and pour out His Spirit in each of our gatherings!

Over the last month we have been in various states, as well as Newfoundland, Canada. There has been a great sense of expectation that we have encountered in each setting as we continue to pray for a new sense of (AWAKENING) to impact all of those that the Lord is sending us to!

In recent days I have been greatly burdened for those who once experienced a passion and zeal for Jesus and have now grown lukewarm or even cold spiritually. I know that life can bring many distractions and detours. However, I also know that if you have ever been touched by the love of God, you will never be satisfied with anything else but that! The native air of every child of God should be that: “THERE MUST BE MORE!” This does not mean that we are dissatisfied with Jesus; it means that when we behold the beauty of His love, holiness and glory, we also behold the multiple levels of intimacy with Him that are available to those who give themselves to the secret place of prayer and the Word of God.

My prayer for you is that your heart will burn for Jesus once again!!!

We would like to say “THANK YOU” for your continued prayers and to those who have stood with us over the last several months financially; your support is greatly appreciated! We have much vision and plan to visit various countries and states over the next several months in order to preach the gospel, assist in church planting and to train leaders. Your consideration of support and prayers is vital to the vision and purposes that the Lord has placed in our hearts hear at Generation Impact Ministries!

June, 2010

Dear Friends,
Greetings to each of you and I pray that this correspondence finds you experiencing the touch of God in your life during this season!

This month I felt that it would be appropriate to share a message with you that I posted in various places back in March of this year. Since I posted this message entitled, “The Pressing,” my burden has only continued to strengthen and the conditions of our world have grown more and more challenging! Despite the reality of trouble and uncertainty all around us, there is a place of divine rest and peace in Jesus we are called to walk in and from this place make a difference for eternity in this hour! May the following words challenge and encourage you!

The Pressing

It is with a sense of urgency that I write this today. I have spent the last several weeks on the road preaching in various settings. As many of you know, I have been actively involved in ministry now for several years, 25 to be exact. During this time I have been blessed to experience many levels of God’s glory, love, holiness and burden. I have also been extremely fortunate to be a part of a genuine outpouring that could have only been birthed by the Spirit of God. I take none of my past history for granted and am fully aware that Jesus used every setting for His purposes, by allowing me to be more and more forged into His eternal destiny for my life!

However, in recent days as I have been among various groups, something different and deeper has been taking place in my spirit. It is as if a divine pressure has come upon me, which in turn has brought me into a sense of urgency and desperation for Jesus, like I have never known. On one level my heart remains broken over the condition of a dying world, as well as an apathetic, sinful church age. Despite the reality and continuance of this brokenness, there is something divine that is prompting me as never before to walk in, believe for and do the supernatural works of Jesus in this generation. This is by no means a call to be a popular, desired preacher (we have more of them than we need to say the least); this that I am experiencing is a mandate to expend myself as never before in order to bring Jesus glory in the nations of the earth!

In recent months we have witnessed great levels of tragedy due to earthquakes in various parts of our world. Though this is tragic and should cause all of us to pray for and assist the affected, it is nothing compared to the shaking that God can and will do in the days ahead. I am convinced as never before that everything will now begin to rapidly change in the world and church, as the Lord stirs His people to become His expression of holiness, mercy, grace, authority and deliverance in the earth in these closing hours. We do not have time to continue to focus on ourselves and our temporal comfort! As God’s people we must become normal and burn with a passion for Jesus and eternal things as the scriptures command us to do!

I will post some more things regarding this subject later on facebook, as well as www.generationimpactministries.com. However, before I close let me exhort and challenge you to be careful about what and who you align your heart, life and ministry with in this hour. There are many false sounds and hollow (though loud) expressions among ministry today, and sadly we live in an hour where people get so excited about demonstrative expressions that often times we lay truth and purity aside for the sake of another feel good experience that often times only produces more of the same. Despite the willingness by ministry to overlook blatant sin and disobedience in this hour, Jesus still demands that we live a life that brings Him glory. He has never and will never condone disobedience because an individual or individuals have a calling or gifting in their lives.

Please know that I post this in love and conviction, as I long to see an army of radical laborers arise in this hour and become willing by life or by death to honor our great Lord and King! May we never exchange purity of heart for carnal opportunity that only glorifies man and manmade ministry expressions that are void of pure Holy Fire!!!

In closing let me say “THANK YOU” for your prayers and to those who have sent financial support, your generosity and love for the spreading of the gospel allows us to do what we do!

All for Jesus,

Keith Collins

“I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore the people shall praise You forever…”

May, 2010

Dear Friends,

Greetings and I trust that this letter finds you walking in the grace of our Lord!

Over the last several weeks I have been on the road quite a bit and continue to be blessed as Jesus is clearly making Himself known in each of our gatherings. I am still sensing a great burden and hunger among many to see the Lord move in power and touch this generation with His love, mercy and holiness. In light of this, I would encourage each of you to embrace a life of prayer as never before. The older I get and the more I experience in life and ministry, the more I am aware that unless we fasten ourselves to prayer, what we accomplish only comes through human effort and learned behavior. Even though these accomplishments may be noble, they oftentimes lack a sense of eternity and usually end up running their course with little to no lasting results. May we each experience the Lord’s grace in this hour as we learn to go deeper into intimacy with Jesus, which in turn equips us for the work of God’s Kingdom!

As I write this I also know that we have entered a true season of shaking (naturally and spiritually). It seems that over the last several months we have watched with dismay as natural, political and financial disasters have presented themselves on a weekly basis. From global earthquakes, to the Iceland volcano eruption, to the floods in the southeastern part of the United States, to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, to the upheaval in Greece over economic fallout, to the attempted bomb attack on Times Square, etc., we have observed the very foundations of our society being rocked. I know that we have observed problems in the past, but the regularity of catastrophic events taken place needs to be observed with soberness and should lead us all into deeper places of prayer and intercession. I do not write this to bring us into a place of fear, but it should definitely wake us up to the reality of the time in which we live. This is a season for the people of God to stand up and make a difference for the eternal purposes of God.

I want to end this correspondence by announcing some exciting news. When we moved to Charlotte, NC last year we knew that we would be reconnecting with FIRE and that we would be basing our ministry from there. However, over the last several weeks we have been praying about serving a greater role within FIRE School of Ministry. We have recently agreed to begin to assist and teach more at the school and look forward to pouring into the lives of people who are preparing for ministry. Even though I know that my calling clearly includes preaching and teaching, I also know that a primary part of my calling is to equip, mentor and release others into their role in God’s Kingdom. By serving at FIRE, this will become a greater reality. Please pray for us in this endeavor as I will continue to travel and minister several days a month as well.

Lastly, I would like to ask you to please continue to consider a few specific things regarding our ministry. First, we are still in prayer regarding raising funds for CD duplicating and printing equipment in order to be able to send out free CDs each month to those on our mailing list. Second, we continue to pray about another vehicle for our ministry, especially since we are now driving to many of our speaking engagements 2-3 times a month. Third, we are continuing to pray for a group of people that are able to assist us with financial support each month in order to offset some of our multiple ministry expenses. Any amount is a blessing and you can make checks or money orders out to GIM, or go to www.generationimpactministries.com and submit a payment via our PayPal account. Also, all financial assistance is tax deductible since we are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit ministry. Lastly and most importantly, we are still asking God for a group of prayer warriors (intercessors) that can and will regularly lift us up in prayer as we are striving to stay on the front lines of spiritual battle.

God bless all of you and many thanks to those who pray for us and support us. You mean more to us than you can imagine! Also, please check out our website at: www.generationimpactministries.com. Here you can view our ministry itinerary, read our blogs, listen to sermons, inquire about speaking invitations, give online, etc.

1 Corinthians 9:16
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

It has been several weeks since I wrote (Part 1) regarding this theme of loving and being called to preach the gospel. I wanted to follow-up with some thoughts that are foundational when it comes to one’s ability to live a life that truly brings glory to Jesus and He alone!

The subject matter upon my spirit is one that has been a source of great, moral decline in the life of the Church of Jesus Christ in recent decades, especially the Church in America. It is as if we have now entered a season where we are challenged when it comes to dealing with truth and the very essential mandates of the Bible as it applies to life and ministry. With this being said, I know that many will want to throw up red flags and cry out (legalism) at this point! Though this may happen, I want to say here that this has everything to do with basic, scriptural principles that have in many ways been swept away in the name of: freedom, liberty, grace, etc. It is as if many are afraid to preach and teach the Word of God when it comes to areas of: purity, holiness, obedience, repentance, conviction, discipleship, etc. Please here me when I say that I do understand that there is a legalistic approach to living for God that many have falling prey to over the years. This mindset leads to religious exasperation, which is oftentimes void of joy and true freedom. With this being said, I would also say that much of what we now call legalism in the modern church is really not legalistic at all when we compare it to what the Bible says regarding following Jesus, Ref. Matthew 8: 20-22, 10:37-38.

With the above said, lets look at the subject of (Conscious and Opportunity). You might ask, why deal with this matter? My answer is simply that, there is an epidemic of compromise that has enveloped and dulled much of the church world, as well as the ministry of this hour and this subject stands at the forefront of this tragedy!

It has been alarming to me over the last several years that so many people who once burned for truth and a genuine move of God have now fallen into traps of delusion, which have only led to spiritual decline, lukewarmness and coldness of heart. I have witnessed some of God’s warriors fall on their own swords as they have allowed their conscious to become dull in order to embrace an opportunity laden with worldliness and selfish gain with Jesus only being a mascot used to justify the expression posing itself as ministry or spiritual opportunity. Even though the initial decision to take the plunge into such a place must have been somewhat painful, after awhile the ability to condone sin and ungodliness became easier and easier. This scenario encompasses a wide spectrum of actions and I will list a few here.

1) Many have been willing to align themselves with movements and individuals that can assist them in their own personal or ministry growth, despite the level of sin or compromise allowed or even promoted in the affiliation.

2) Many have overlooked sin and blatant discretions, as long as there is an appearance of anointing and gifting upon a ministry or movement.

3) Many have willingly violated their own conscious in order to create a bridge with others who can help them advance in their quest for ministry opportunity and fame, despite the fact that immorality is present.

4) Many have left the place of burning for Jesus in exchange for professional ministry, which lends itself to numerical growth while all the while creating an atmosphere of spiritual death.

5) Many have embraced movements that are full of false fire fueled by folly and a willingness to trivialize the holy things of God.

Lastly, let me admonish all of you to live a life that brings honor to Jesus Christ! We are living in challenging times and our emphasis must be upon the will of our Father. We do not have time to get entangled with the things that will cause us to get distracted from the Kingdom of God and His eternal purposes. We must give ourselves to divine intimacy and from that place our hearts will be ignited and through this experience of eternal burning, a generation will be awakened to do the works of Jesus in this hour!!!

Grace & Peace,

April, 2010

Dear Friends,

Blessings and peace to you in the ultimate name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!

As I write this to you it is the evening before Easter and I must say that as I have meditated and prayed over the scriptures in the Bible once again that describe the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord (Matthew 27, 28, Mark 15, 16 Luke 23, 24 & John 19, 20), my spirit is alive with the reality of our inheritance, as well as our positioning in God’s eternal purposes! It is beyond description that our precious Lord was willing to lay His life down in order to purchase us for Himself. Beyond that, He descended into Hell (Ephesians 4) and conquered death, Hell and the grave! Therefore, we as the church are His expression of love, mercy, hope, forgiveness, power, authority, holiness, etc. Our purpose on this earth is not just to bask in His blessings. Even though that might be a part of our existence, in essence we are called to exercise God’s Kingdom into every sphere of our existence while living out our years in this temporal world. During this season as we reflect upon the completed work of the Cross, as well as the power of the resurrection, may our hearts be stirred to respond in such a way that we live our lives with a sense of humility coupled with responsibility. It is only out of a true apprehension of the price paid for our sins that we fully grasp the burden and mandate to reach a generation for Jesus Christ!

In recent weeks I have traveled and ministered in Maryland, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. I have to say as I have said in recent months; there is a clear, divine stirring among the people in each place that I go into. By this I don’t mean that people are excited about good services and church related activities. What I have witnessed is a deep cry for the Lord to come and show His power into the midst of the culture in which we live. This my friend is not a time to draw back in complacency and apathy, but it is an hour when the need of this age is for the Lord to awaken His church and through that act of grace, touch a world that continues to flounder and degenerate. I encourage us all to give ourselves to prayer, worship and the Word of God as never before. The truth is that it is only from a platform of intimacy with the Lord that things properly transpire on and individual or corporate level.

I will finish this today by saying that we are blessed that the Lord continues to open new doors for us, as well as bring us in contact with individuals of like, precious faith. We will be announcing some new things next month and are excited to share about how God is supernaturally positioning our lives for His glory in this season. We continue to ask you to please keep us in prayer as we endeavor to stay on the front lines in many ways. Also, we continue to believe the Lord to send partners to us that are able to help us with monthly support or one time gifts, so that we can continue to do what we are called to do. Some of our specific prayer needs are: new transportation, CD/DVD duplicating equipment, finances to cover expenses related to overseas ministry this summer, and an army of prayer warriors to cover us daily as we fulfill various ministry responsibilities.

Thanks to all of you and may the Lord’s grace rest upon you as never before! We would love to hear from you via mail, email at generationimpactministries@hotmail.com, or through our website at www.generationimpactministries.com.

All for Jesus,

In recent months we have witnessed great levels of tradgedy due to earthquakes in various parts of our world.

Dear Friends,

Despite the reality and continuance of this brokeness, there is something divine that is prompting me as never before to walk in, believe for and do the supernatural works of Jesus in this generation. This is by no means a call to be a popular, desired preacher (we have more of them than we need, to say the least), this that I am experiencing is a mandate to expend myself as never before in order to bring Jesus glory in the nations of the earth!

In recent months we have witnessed great levels of tradgedy due to earthquakes in various parts of our world.

All for Jesus,
